has anyone had the problem of their car not starting when the doors are open? i though my car wouldn't start and ended up reseting the ecu and pulling out the alarm/immobilizer checking the battery, pull apart the distributor cap, checked the spark plugs. it turned out that it was because my door was open. the car starts first time when the doors are closed. is this normal????

Sounds like who ever you bought the car from had done some Craaaaaazy stuff....
Sounds like there is rather a switch on the door that the ignition is routed thru; or there is a relay wired between the curtsy light and the ignition line... well, there are other combonations as well, i'd have to dig into it to find out what the hell is wrong with that. But i've never heard of it coming like that from the factory. lol. -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Damn D-Man - most impressive.
