Anyone done this with our cars yet? I love the targa top style on cars and am looking into what I'd be getting into possibly. I'm guessing a custom roll cage would probably be good for extra support n such.... Anyone have any comments or suggestions/ideas?

QUOTE(95st-celica @ Mar 31, 2008 - 11:23 PM) i think it would be sweet....when i make my auto x celica..im gonna do it...so i'll post up a how to and lots of pics wouldnt you want a pretty stiff body for auto x? plus, if your going to spend that kinda time, money, effot on making a suitable targa, why not build a car for full track use instead of auto x? not to sound like a dick. i do hope someone does this! and unless you get in an accident, or have a very high torque engine, i dont see how structure would be compromised too much to make any significant difference on day to day driving. the doors may not close correctly over time -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!
