*Side-note-> I was supposed to get a ST205 3SGTE front clip with E-153 tranny(recieved 5sfe b/c they said it was too hard to install a E-153)
Man..... I got my engine from toysport the other day and when I was looking at it, it did not seem like the 3rd gen 3SGTE. At first it looked good, but I obviously noticed that the intercooler was air-air not water-air, but I could be wrong. (the 3rd gen 3SGTE intercooler has a black plastic cover with small hoses going into it, right?) Plus toysport argues that the 3rd Gen 3SGTE does not have a C20 turbo and it is nonexistant. Well, the engine I got has a CT26 and the intercooler really looked like it was air-air. But....if they gave me a ST185 WRC, I would not mind, but that also has a water-air, and I don't know what that engine looks like. I am pretty sure they gave me a 2nd gen 3SGTE. I am not 100% sure if I am right with this, but if someone can help me, so I can go argue with them this weekend since I also bought the GT4 hood and bumper from them and I am going to go pick that up from them. **The hood would not do any good for me if the intercooler is air-air...right? |

LOL that FAT A$$ is an A$$hole that guys name is Joel. I F***ING hate that guy. IF they told you that there is NO CT20 turbo they're B.S'ing you. The ST205 comes with a CT20b turbo but to my knowledge it will say TOYOTA on it? (please double check someone) And sphinx is right who gives a F*** if the E153 tranny is hard to put on? ARE they doing the swap for you?? If so thats not a good idea. They will rip you off. They wanted to charge me about $7,000 for the basic 2nd swap (thats including the engine), when i got it done for around $5,000 with my own customizing. The e153 tranny should just bolt right up and if thats what you ordered AND PAID for, then you should get that. HONESTLY i would stay away from ToySport. I think Natalie the real reason why you like them is b/c you PERSONALLY never delt with them, YOUR DAD did. HE called and talk SH*T and got all the missing parts. (well thats how you made it seem to me) If you can let me know when you are going back there cuz i have to pick up some pieces for the GT4 bumper that i've been waiting for, since JUNE. Then we can both chew him out. I'm pretty sure there are some voluteers here too that will join us. haha David |
