Anyone done this with our cars yet? I love the targa top style on cars and am looking into what I'd be getting into possibly. I'm guessing a custom roll cage would probably be good for extra support n such.... Anyone have any comments or suggestions/ideas?

if you are going to do all this work to get it done proper why not just save yourself time and money and get a supra?
sure i suppose you could do it with a vert and do a custom top but IMO i think it will look like shat. our car isn't designed to have that huge gap in the roof. you will probably waste the car and hurt yourself badly. anytime you modify anything that has to do with the frame of a car like that (without professional know how and a lot of resources) you will most likely end up killing yourself. the way i see this whole topic is kinda like thinking about putting a 2jz in our car. sure it sounds freaking sweet and everyone wants to do it, but after thinking about it logically it's just not worth it. --------------------  Call me a traitor!
