hey guys as some of you know i will be taking the cars down to savannah for another swap, and i was wondering where i can find additional polyurethane inserts, but for control arm bushings. I learned my lesson last time when i found that my rubber bushings were worn, and having a 3s just accelerated this. I know for a fact that i need new bushings and i DO NOT want to go through toyota. (they dont sell the bushings separate and will tell you that the whole control arm is needed o get the bushing.)
can anyone point me in the right direction? where else should i be putting polyurethane inserts (besides the motor, will be talking to kirkosaurus soon) I read somewhere that some people just shot some polyurethane from home depot into the bushing area, but cant find that post. CHEERS! thanks! ![]() -------------------- |

you can inject poly in the motor mounts because there is room for it.
the control arm bushing is solid. ![]() this is not the celica's but its the generic looking control arm bushing. There is no room for you to inject poly into the bushings. This post has been edited by Hanyo: Apr 1, 2008 - 1:18 AM |
