 help with HD partition, just got an external120gb |

hi all. i just got an external hard drive for my lappy that i want to use as a back up drive. when i got the lappy the hard drive already had about 1/4th of it partitioned off as a backup. how do i un partition this and back up all the info to the external?
just incase anyone is wondering, i use windows XP and i have an HP Pavilion dv2000 and the external i got is a Western Digital 120 GB portable HD. any help is appreciated thanks --------------------  Call me a traitor! See if I care. ;) |

Or you can just change the HDD over to Dynamic partitions, but that means you won't be able to go back w/o a reimage.
But like Creis said, I would leave it alone and use the external for space. If you want you can create a little partition on the external and install another OS. Dual boot FTMFW! -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
