I would post this on supraforums, but they would just argue with each other and not give a straight answer, so I'll try here first.
I am planning on buying a 7mgte and trans locally, building it up, and dropping it into an older supra chassis (mk2, 82-85 is much lighter than a mk3) I would like this to be a street legal drag car, stripped out, drag radials, etc. What power levels would get me in the 10 second range, and what turbo do I need to get there? I have been doing a lot of researching on supraforums, but I want your input, too. this site is better, anyway. Thanks -------------------- ![]() |

if you wanna go 10sec more than once or twice... dont use a 7mgte. lol jk, i love giving those guys crap about HGs
well your gonna have major traction issues. build up your traction. practice in the car. shoot for 500whp, that will give you a good starting point. prolly not 10s but very quick! as for turbo.. a garret gt35r or smaller GT40 turbo will get you to hp worthy of 10s. your motor will need some work though. pistons at the very least. ARP headstuds are a must! dont be scared of those supra guys.. go make friends -------------------- 94' ST Coupe - 5sfe Motor swap and brake swap.
