My passenger door panel trim is damaged a bit.
this is not my car but ive found this picture and figured out that im not the only one with this problem ![]() I dont know really what caused this since i bought my car like that...probly last owner's gf had a weighty elbow ![]() my question is...is that trim easy to replace? regards |

The passenger door panel in my '97 celica had the same problem too... Weighty elbow is probably what caused it because the wood frame/backing collapsed. What I did was I patched up the wood with some glue & tape. Then I trimmed the leather and used some sandable leather filler to patch it up. It's not perfect but looks a lot better now. It holds up pretty well too.
![]() ![]() The elbow damage is gone.. but in this pic, you could see the groove where I had trouble sanding. ..I got annoyed so I said fcuk this piece of sh**!!!! I whipped out some sem dye and sprayed it. ![]() |
