When my engine's all built and running...I'd like to keep it cooler than the factory setup...I was thinking of getting a high-quality (like B-COOL) radiator and a lower temp. thermostat to ensure long life for my new engine. What do you guys suggest or is it not really a good idea at all for reasons I'm unaware of?

QUOTE(6G96GT @ Apr 4, 2008 - 3:41 PM) oh...so is there no worth at all into lowering the temp even a bit? optimal operating temp for our motors is gonna be between 190-210*F. our cooling system is quite adequate at keeping the temp in that range, with a daily driver, even in heavy traffic. if your having trouble with high temps, id look at things other than your radiator. (unless of course your road racing, which i dont think is the case here.) that said, the all aluminum 2 row core KOYO radiator certainly looks awesome. haha. ![]() -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)
