When my engine's all built and running...I'd like to keep it cooler than the factory setup...I was thinking of getting a high-quality (like B-COOL) radiator and a lower temp. thermostat to ensure long life for my new engine. What do you guys suggest or is it not really a good idea at all for reasons I'm unaware of?

I'm not having probs at all. I just want to get my future build the best cooling option it could have.
If I get a bigger more efficient radiator...wouldn't I technically be able to raise the temp a bit with a higher temp. thermostat for more accurate tuning?? |

Don't worry about a higher temp thermostat, as long as you're using the stock therm, if the rad cools too much the therm will close, allowing the engine to run at optimal temp. IMO for most of you the biggest [and only really] advantage to an aluminum radiator is getting rid of the plastic end tanks. -------------------- ![]() |
