For what you are talking about yes cause otherwise your not gonna feel much if any gains out of what you're doing. I think what Pressure was saying is you aren't really intending to do much to gain even a little power. Chances are the most gain you will feel is the motor rebuild with good compression, seals etc.
Perhaps you should plan to do a little more work and add the cams now? I don't understand why you would wait on them anyway seeing as how you'll have the motor open and now would be the best time to get it done. -------------------- ![]() ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. Hmm...I think you are righ afterall about the cams, I was talking to my brother (he's got the gt-s (2001)) and was telling me the same thing. I might as well do it...I just was thinking about breaking in the engine first but I guess what difference does it make, right? |
