Alright, so I did a get a nice, primed set of Invader sides from a member on the site recently - CelicaGT96. He never really put them on his car, and they were owned by playr158 before that. Just some pointless history to start you off biggrin.gif

My real question is, what are some tips/advice for installing these things. CelicaGT96 mentioned that the top "flap" mounts on the door sill area, but how exactly is this done? I assume that the door sill must come off first? What is the best way to do that? Do I then have to drill holes were the door sill was, or will there already be holes there to use?

Also, what kind of screws should I use in general to help mount them? Could I just use the same type that Azian Advanced uses in his how to on installing the stock sideskirts?

Any other tips or tricks with installing these sideskirts?

Thanks!!

These sideskirts are easy to install smile.gif. The door sill will have to come off, they are held in by plastic clips that just pull right out. You want to be careful when putting them back in because these clips break easily. You are going to need to drill new holes for you to screw the sideskirts onto the car. You may need to drill holes on the sideskirt "flap" so that the plastic clips on the door sill will still be able to go into their stock holes without the sideskirt being in the way.

On my set up I didn't use screws, I used pop-rivets because I felt they were more flush and held more firmly. I also secured the sideskirt in the rear wheel well area.

Thanks man. So I need to drill holes in the door sill area to mount the sideskirts, AFTER I removed the black plastic sill piece? Why do the plastic clips have to go back in place? Also, do you have any close up pics of the mounting points of your skirts, or the rivets you used? That would be most helpful! Thanks.
