unless you can answer my questions i don't recommend any of your mods.
What ignition timing map are you going to use to adjust for higher compression? What octain fuel do you plan to use? Are you going to use a standalone ecu? |

QUOTE(Hanyo @ Apr 10, 2008 - 7:13 AM) unless you can answer my questions i don't recommend any of your mods. What ignition timing map are you going to use to adjust for higher compression? Well, that depends on how much compression the stock head is made for, I don't know that answer, so I am open to suggestions...What is the stock compression for my GT now? What octain fuel do you plan to use? Whatever my car drives best on...right now (regular) and she drives like a charm, but after the build, I'll probably go 93 octane. Are you going to use a standalone ecu? Well, I want to get an A/F control to tune the cams a/f adjusments, I don't think I'll need fuel mani upgrades because I'm going to do something to the equivalent of a stage I cam setup. Besides, I'm not really interested in a stand alone ecu, I had one before on my turbo talon and it was expensive and I don't plan on going to the dyno more than once or twice. Why? This is just going to be a nice build with light machine work. This post has been edited by 6G96GT: Apr 10, 2008 - 3:11 PM |

Im running on 99+ We live in N.America - our highest grade is 93ron which is measured differently and is slightly higher than your Euro/Asian gas which is measured Pon [IIRC].
