I want to get one but not sure which type to get. I believe from the ones pictured below, the first is water cooled and the other is air cooled.
Which is best? For the water cooled one, I assume the oil filter now goes on that silver core - would I have to start using 7th gen Celica filters since the kit below is for a 7th gen? I plan on custom fitting it. ![]()

i used an air cooled one when i first put my headers in. I used one from flexalite, the kit runs about $130. I did have to use a bigger oil filter, i think it was for like..a camry v6 motor or somethin. It wasnt much bigger. But it worked great, i mainly put it on because when i installed my headers, my exhaust had to be pulled up right against my oil pan *bad plannin on my part and also due to having to modify the headers*. Without it, i pretty much boiled my oil, but when i threw it on, ran fine since, no oil temp issues.
