My heat shield (i think thats what it is) above my muffler is loose, when i close my hatch it makes a crappy vibrating sound. It is held in by odd fasteners. I have two in it, and one fell out completely and i replaced it with a bolt (that was very tricky, it didnt bolt into the frame like the rest seem to do, it had a sort of bracket coming down that i could use a bolt and nut with) I guess my question is how can i tighten us my loose fasteners to make it quit rattling, it has been bothering me. At first i thought they where star head but that didnt work. I dont think i could take a picture but i may go try. *edit pic added

i think it is rivetted on to the body. I'm not 100% sure..
best way to fix this problem is to drill out the hole and run a new tap on there to get a new bolt installed. or you can just ripped the heat shield off. (something i would do |
