How can you tell if your timing belt has broken? Will the car act like normal? or will the car run really crappy if the timing belt is broken?? 1996 Celica 7afe, The car has Air, has Spark, the only thing is I think the timing belt is broken, but prior to the car not starting, the car was driving perfect EXCEPT a check engine light.
One more thing, where is the fuel pump fuse?? If not a broken timing belt, I'm thinking it could be the fuel pump fuse, but where is it located? The car is cranking, just not starting, battery and alternator is fine, starter is fine. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! Car is at my work place and need to get it running a.s.a.p, thanks! Spray something combustible into the intake plenum and see if it catches for a minute. Check the fuel rails for pressure to rule out delivery.

Yeah; like Nitroglycerin ![]() It's easyer to trouble shoot a problemed car that is spread across a few miles, because you know what you'll need. A new car. -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Damn D-Man - most impressive.
