ok, well i just got back from sacramento raceway. i had a good time and all, but i was really disapointed with the times i got. the last time i went there my best time was 17.58, that was with my shortram intake. now i have a cold air intake, and after a few runs my best time came out to be 17.62. can somebody help me? can it be the diameter of my intake? i am running 3" diameter on the intake pipes. if so i think im just goin to go and make one with a 2.5" diameter. what do you guys suggest?

Well considering the gains of a cia on a n/a engine I wouldn't even bother installing one. Besides a "cool" noise your not going to get much out of one. Get a turbo or build up your engine if you want it fast.
