Drove a celica tonight!

I was really impressed with it. I was going to buy it BUT I saw a good sized patch of rust on the drivers door, what a let down, 6 hours in my sisters crappy car, then driving this awesome celica only to find rust, dammit!!! Oh well I guess there will be others. But it was sexy thats for sure, it was black.

There are a few on auto trader this week, but last month was prime time for celica buying. If you are looking for a 94/95 celi in Ontario with original paint, IT IS GOING TO HAVE RUST. If you find one without, it was either painted, or a summer only car - wich will be way exp. Looking at what you wanted to spend, accept the rust and try to make freinds with someone who can give you a deal on paint. My 94 is original paint and the bottoms of the doors are getting bad. Once I land a job for post-grad, I am going to paint mine, thinking about a nice copper/orange metallic, just need to do a little custom body work, when I get time

Well I had a 93 mX3 and there was not a spec of rust, not even where the paint was chipped, I know Ive seen celi's with no rust, maybe thats just been your experience. Did the celicas have the rust proofing? Im sure they did. Anyways Ill just keep looking, there was alot last month on autotrader.ca, I hope it pics up again cause there is nothing right now, they are all dealers, auto, or yellow.

Im in no real hurry, I have my sisters peseo to use till I get a car. I wanna spend around 9000, maybe a little more on the car, so that should get me a nice gt-s.

oh ya k-w?? kitchener, waterloo? if that is what you mean then yes it was. It drove and sounded good but the rust and paint chips turned me off, I really dont wanna spend alot of money getting the car upto par, Id wrather wait for the right one to come along.

I rushed into my last car and got an mx3, I dont want that to happen again
