will it be easier to swap a 3sge then a 3sgte? i dont know what generation motor it is but i am thinking of the 3s that they use on the 6 gen celicas in japen. what do you guys think?

Im not sure I understand the questio n correctly! Are you swapping a 3SGE for a 3SGTE or wanting to know if whatever you have currently can easily be swapped out for one of the above?
I'd say that the 3SGE is easier as its non turbo and alot easier of an engine to work on! If you went for the 3SGTE you'd have to do alot more work to the transmission, intercooler, exhaust system, wiring. And obviosuly it depends on the type of the 3SGTE, the WRC versions came with water spray bars and other rally goodies that you will have to find GT4 parts to control! But IMO the 3SGTE is the fa superior engine and great fun once its set up right!!! -------------------- ![]() |
