Got my usual oil change today and I was told that my oil was really low. I asked if it had a leak and they said there's a very slow one not coming from any lines or anything, but oil is on the bottom of the engine. Any others have problems like this? Any suggestions/solutions before I take it to a toyota specific shop?

Still got good oil pressure? Some shops can put a harmless dye in the oil and then pretty quickly locate the leak.

You clean up the oil on your engine. put the stuff in the crank case, drive it for a while then jack it up and use a black light to see where the oil is coming out of works pretty well actually -------------------- ![]() The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed? |
