I was wondering... i believe my GT has the 6 speaker setup, and I wanted to know if keeping the factory amp would be a better option than using my headunit as my amp. This is because my headunit powers 50wattsx4channels, but i dont know if thats ok for the tweeters as well. Isnt the stock amp designed to take the 6 speaker setup however? does anyone have any opinion of what might sound better... using my headunit to power all the speakers or using the stock amp to? Thanks guys!

honestly? IMO ditch the factory amp.
You want good sound? go thru your aftermarket head-unit, as it's (depending on what you AMHU you have) better. You want Competition level sound? AMHU & Your own amp. Our factory amps are like 60-65W per chanel. Big freaking deal. Your AMHU puts out a minimum of 50W. You want competition level? your going to want 150W+ But it depends on what you are trying to achinve -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!!
