Got my usual oil change today and I was told that my oil was really low. I asked if it had a leak and they said there's a very slow one not coming from any lines or anything, but oil is on the bottom of the engine. Any others have problems like this? Any suggestions/solutions before I take it to a toyota specific shop?

On a high mileage 5S, anywhere.
I don't believe the 96 got the better HG yet, so from the top Valve cover gasket Dist Cam seals Head Gasket Front main seal [basically in the oil pump]. Oil pump Rear main seal Oil pan If it's not enough to leave drips on your parking spot it's probably not that bad a leak. You could have burned the oil as well. -------------------- ![]() |
