 Removing Power Antenna |

I search all over, but can't find any detail info on how to remove the power antenna and repacing it with an after market antenna. Can anyone send me a link where I can find that or if you can give the info here. Thanks

yea, i took mine out too. one day, it just decided to not go down. as impatient as i am, i went to autozone and bought a cheap after market stubby black antenna. took the interior out of the trunk, unplugged the wiring from the motor, unscrewed the motor, and yanked it through the inside of the trunk. it was my first time doing it, but it was easier than i thought.
