 Got some bad news |

So most of you know I sold my 94 GT Faux in October to a guy in Oregon who had a 6gc in the past and I sold it to him becuase he had seen my car a car show 2 years prior and I was glad to let it go to someone who knew about 6gcs. Well I got a comment today on Myspace from him that the hood wasnt latched when he took it out and now the hood is messed up. Im assuming that it flew up. I havent seen pics but Im super sad now. Hes selling it for 2500 I hear but theres no way I can buy it back but jeeze! Have any of you let go a car to only find out that it got hurt? I know its not mine anymore but I cant help but be sad. It was ok for me to 'F' up the car when I had it but to see someone else accidently hurt it makes me sooooo sad and kinda mad but I know I cant be mad at the owner because well its not my car anymore and it was an accident.

scoobydoocruiser sent me a how to on the latch,
the lenght is about 7.5-8 cm,,, will try that for a while and when i can i will get the st205 latch, i drive a lot on the highway and i dont what that to happen. --------------------  |

The stock latch is perfect, it's the safety latch (the one you need to pull with your hand which is also the one that needs to be extended) that is too short. The latch itself that is poped from inside the car is the same as the st-205 latch. So basicly, if the hood is properly latched on the stock latch, it's the same as if you had the st-205 latch. The real problem is really that the stock latch's safety latch is too short when used along the gt-four front bumper..is that confusing? lol When I had my gt-four hood installed along with my stock bumper, the latch, un-moded, was good enough to be used unmoded as the bumer's line is lower. By the way, my hood poped in my face because of carelessness, not because of the latch, I assure you.
