 Question about gas mileage. |

The other day I got 174 miles to a half tank of gas. To me thats pretty darn good. Does anyone else have numbers close to this? This of course was after a tune up (minus oil change). Before I was getting about 300 miles to a full tank of gas. Now, if I just double that its approx 350 to a full tank. Are these results normal for a post tune up?

with the auto in 4 door form (same weight as celica :nuts: ) im getting 27-30 on my commute to work which would be classified as mixed city/"highway".
on real stop and go i see mid to low 20's, 23-25ish on real highway cruising i see 30-38 depending on hills, mountains, speed, etc. worst was 30mpg doing 80-90mph, best was 38 doing 60-70. This post has been edited by Bitter: May 5, 2008 - 10:30 PM -------------------- |
