Hey guys, I'm looking into possibly turbo'ing the car a few months down the road. I read the FAQs, but I was confused about what parts I actually need. Here is what I came up with as far as parts:
New, lower mileage motor 3S-GTE oil pan and drain lines 3S-GTE 2 bar map sensor 3S-GTE Manifold/downpipe CT26 (twin entry) MK3 Supra N/A injectors MK3 Supra intercooler Intercooler piping SAFC Boost controller Boost gauge Oil pressure gauge Headgasket Now, here are the questions I had. Why must you use the twin entry CT-26? Does the single entry (aka Supra) CT-26 work? Is this because of the 3S-GTE manifold? If I bought an aftermarket 3S manifold, could I then use the Supra CT? I ask because I have access to a few of these. Also, what is needed concerning the oil and coolant lines? This is where I get confused. I would like this to the as budget of a build as possible, but at the same time be reliable. I would plan to run 6-8psi or so. -Matt |
