Ok, I was just wondering if there's a difference between the convertible, hatchback, and coupe GT's. I've noticed that convertibles are a lot easier to obtain than hatchbacks and I really wouldn't mind a convertible sometimes. The engine's the same right (V4 2.2L). Any weight difference or anything like that?

actually there have been, but around the mid 60's people realized its much more efficient to make a 4 cylinder inline rather than in a "v"... There are only a few cars that i can think of off the top of my head that had V4's, real early saabs did (like late 50's), ford of germany it the 60's made V4's for taunus' and other german fords, and prolly the most famous V4 being the one used in the Lacnia's of the 1960's like the Fulvia. the Lancia V4 was actually very strong for a 4 cylinder back in that time period (65 to 71), and in the fulvia coupes it had a very sucessful rally career, where it could make up to 170 hp (remember this is late 1960's). Just thought id let you know! -------------------- Car #3: 98 Accord LX- purchased 5/06, totaled 8/06
Car #2: 95 Celica GT- purchased 8/03, current daily driver Car #1: 01 Focus ZX3- purchased 5/01, sold 8/03 |
