Consider yourself lucky. I had my other car broken into last year and they broke my backdoor driver side window (the smaller window) and got into my car; snipped my alarm, stole my headunit and broke my hand compartment; took my PSP.....that was the first time i left that in the car too. I'm sure it was someone who knew what was in my car because when i turn off my car, the headunit has a full black screen with no buttons (non-detachable faceplate) and car is all stock on the outside; and it was in an underground parking lot so its dark, can't see in the car much. Also that same night, 7 other cars in the parking lot in different floors were successfully broken into and robbed.
Good thing they didn't jack my rear speakers and door speakers, those are aftermarket but i put the speaker grille over it so you can't see it.
You should invest in a 2-way alarm.
