The forum software has been upgraded and is now in a usable state, so it's back online. I'm still working on it, and may have it down later tonight for a little while, but for now, let me know what you think.
By the way, expect most of the old features (reputation system, etc.) to be coming back very soon. I'm back to work. Enjoy! And let me know if you find problems.

if it's not too much trouble to add the topic preview when you move your mouse over a link on the forum index pages, it would be great to have that back
in the searches too if you can
