So i am done with Phase of my build, which was getting the majority of what i needed to buy and getting installed...
Phase 2: dynamat the cab and trunk and build custom fiberglass to house the subs the the corners or the trunk.(add interior lighting, maybe)
Phase 3: add 4" door speaker and upgrade all door speakers to Fo Cal and run another amp to power those. Replace rear 6x9's.

So i got my new deck installed, had my satellite radio unit fitted next to the E-Brake(where the change thingy use to be), Ran the Ipod cable to the Ipod tray(aka where my cup holders used to be) Built a custom box to house the subs, and a custom plate to hold the amp to the rear wall of my trunk.

I am running a Kenwood DDX512, Sirius Sportster 5, JL Audio W6 12", JL Audio 1000/1 Series Amp. No voltage drops even though im running 1000RMS:) so far so good:)

Enjoy:)

Sorry for the glare on the satellite unit. The deck can recieve the signal direct but i wanted a seprate unit to take camping and such

The ipod tray slides over the satellite radio unit with out any interferance:) all i need now is the ipod laugh.gif lol

No aux jack to hardwire your satellite unit into? You could run the aux wire behind the deck, under the shift trim and up through the "change holder" (which was an ash tray, btw) where the satellite unit is now. Or customize that little pocket you have next to your lighter and mount the bracket for the sat. in there, that way the unit is easily removed from the bracket.

I do LOVE my satellite radio... Other than NPR in the mornings, I never listen to "terrestrial" radio any more!
