Hey all, like the title says whats the average time it took you guys to remove the 5sfe from the bay and to reinstall it back ?? The reason I'm asking is because I plan on respraying my car a different color if it doesn't take too long I might consider. Thanks

depends on your tools and your garage. typical garage with an engine lift.....i'd say 3-4 hours for removal with labeling and everything.....30 mins is way out of exaggeration. i don't even think a toyota mechanic could do it by then. removal is much easier than install. make sure you bag everything by section. it only takes 3-4 hrs to strip the entire car ![]() |
