 help with lambo installation, regarding the shocks |

so I can't seem to stretch my shocks...aren't they supposed to stretch and compress easily? Mine are stuck in the same place and therefore I can't even install them.
here's a pic to describe it.  Mine is stuck like that so if I put it on, my door won't come down... |

you cannot compress a door shock that is not mounted to a door & hinge. There is a significant amount of pressure within the shock that is required to hold the door open. The only way of compressing it is by mounting it.
