Found this forum by accident. I was googling for some information to solve the problem of water sloshing around in one of my side panels ('99 convertible).
I've had the car since September but also had an '01 Spyder till last month and hung out in SpyderChat. Now I love the guys over at SpyderChat but now that I don't have a Spyder anymore (boo hoo) it seems more and more a waste of time to hang out there. Much as I loved my Spyder there were things that made it easy to move on: No space for 3rd or 4th passenger No space for luggage No room to put seat back and snooze in the rest stop No cruise control (gets pretty tiring on long trips) When I spotted the Celica at Wilsonville Toyota I fell in love instantly and had to have it. Oh, and Black is the fastest color. Some of the stuff we talked about over at SpyderChat was things like how and why to gut your precats (Spyders had a nasty habit of eating precats), meet locations, times and dates, performance and appearance mods, stuff like that. There was also a great bit of good natured goofing off over there. Well enough about me, I'm going to learn how to search and all that on this board.
