ok so my parents are gonna loan me the money for the swap finally, or help me make payments on a credit card so i can do the swap and such. so im pretty excited. but the questiion i had was am i better off using the tranny i have in there now with 212k miles on it, and putting LSD in it, or going through the time and extra cash to buy the camry tranny with it built in?
btw its the s54 tranny, or whatever comes with the 5sfe ![]() This post has been edited by torhne: May 13, 2008 - 1:44 AM -------------------- |

Good luck in trying to find the LSD module for the s54 tranny. And you're better off with the e153 tranny because it outputs a better power potential compared with the s54. Longer gears and everything so you won't be doing 4k rpm when doin 120 km/h (70mph?) However if you're going to go that route, you're going to need to make custom axles and get other stuff to. Research research....

I took my tranny apart to see how hard it is and it doesnt look hard at all. -------------------- 98 Celica gt red- totaled deer
