I got a quote from a local shop that it would cost $450 to install tien lowering springs for my car. For those of you who did it yourselfs how long did it take you, what if any problems you ran into, and any advise you have. From just looking at the article in the how to secton it does not look like it would be that hard. I would love for me and my dad to do it insted of wastng $450.Thanks for the help.

It's a 2 hour job at most [4hours for me then
 ]. Really tho - it's easy. Just rent a spring compressor and be safe - the ghetto way has been known to kill or maim.
