These are throw away if I recall (good luck removing all the dirt that gets trapped inside..and the dust that also goes into the engine.

There are bad filters filtration wise http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/index.html x2 - it's been well proven but still some people prefer the look so they still sell well. I had heard they have improved the filtration since that study tho. Luckily for me the Apex'I one both matches the look I'm going for and provides the best balance of gains/maintenance and most importantly filtration. ![]() This post has been edited by DEATH: May 17, 2008 - 7:54 AM -------------------- ![]() ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them.
