Has anybody taken apart the mirrors, i need to drop paint inside them!! on some 5th gens..

well, assuming that the 5th gen ones are similar with to the 6th gen ones..
1. pry the mirror from the bottom (be extremely careful not to bend the mirror too much or it will crack). The bottom of the mirrors snap in from the bottom. ![]() 2. remove the gold screws that holds the white part to the base (there's 3 or 4 of them) 3. remove the black screws that hold the base to the back housing (there's 3 of them). ![]() and that's it. -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
