hey guys. i will soon be painting my aftermarket rims. right now i have my stock rims back on. i was wondering if i would be able to remove the tires by myself to make painting easier. the tires are basically bald so i was planning on deflating each tire and maybe start hacking away at it with an axe or something.
is this a good idea? anyone else done it? i know i can get it done at a shop but if its easy doing it myself i can save like 20 bux. |

![]() but common, really, to hack up a tire just to paint it (saving $35) then how many hundred for 4 new tires ![]() Not to mention if you wail on it like that your' bound to get hurt... Just run it down to discount tire, they charge like $35 for all 4 (well they did for me when i last changed rims, just swaping rim to rim) then i had to pay extra for air, lube, and new tire nozzles ![]() -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!!
