 GPS mounting locations |

I'm trying to find a clean spot to mount the GPS, because I didn't want to use the windshield mount. What are your suggestions to how I can make it integrate with the car better? I was thinking a custom panel piece, but I've tried it before, and let's say it didn't turn out well.

I feel you about the windshield thing, it just sucks. I happen to put my tom tom in the pocket below the stereo face. I dont know how your set up is, I dont have the original pocket (that was stolen), I have one that has a lip all the way around it, so it kinda "locks" the tom tom mounting arm in.
