Well i'm going down to SC for college. My car is in pretty good shape.. 160,000 miles. However i think my parents let be letting me get a little new car with less miles to bring down with me.
There is a 1995 Honda Prelude Si for 3,900 by me with 104,000 miles. It has a full exhaust system, intake, and front and rear struts. Its a 5spd. Whats everyone think of these cars? Personally i would love something with more HP than my celica because i have a automatic ST.. and parts are much more readily available for hondas. Please don't just knock the car because its a honda. It does have a nice H22. However you can't really turbo those engines. =[ -------------------- "Drive Well...

I'd say if the Prelude is what you really want, go for it. Personally, I'd stay w/the Celica and here's why: 1, you already have established a history with it, so you know what's good, what's bad, and can have a reasonable expectation of how it'll perform/hold up while you're away at school. 2, getting a different car will put you back at scratch as far as getting to "know" the car. You can run a Carfax on it (and should!) but you still don't always know what you're getting until you've driven it around for a few weeks. Honda parts are readily available, yes. But they're also typically more expensive than Toyota parts, and as far as any actual repairs go (not mods), Toyota parts are just as readily available. Lastly, when you're away at school, if you think you're going to have the time and money to mod your car and maintain it/iron out the bugs from modding it, you are going to have a very rude awakening. You're going to be a broke-ass college student like everyone else you're there with. Your Celica can be a beautiful and reliable car, and better yet, one that every other person doesn't have. Hondas are just way common anyway.
