I was thinking to buy the C-1 replica hood for my car but i dont want to leave it carbon fiber black i wanted to paint match it to my car but is there anything special i need to do because its carbon fiber?

nope.
there is no special way to paint CF. It's still a paint job; and you'd treat it like anything else that's already been painted/coated. Dont go ballistic on the sanding. You just wanna create a toothing for the prime to stick. Preferably wetsand. regular will work too, it'll just take longer/more work to achieve the same results. prime, resand & spray using a matching OEM color. (located on your VIN sticker.) or whatever color you wanna use. nothing special too it. Basic job.

Yea i can tell, but i explained to him that my body guys uses these fancy names for stuff that ive never heard, so what he told me he could haev ment wet/dry paper. Idk if im wrong, i mean everyone is wrong sometimes, i thought i new something.kinda did. just tryin to help a member out. but i just didnt like they way he comes off. he could of found a better less sarcastic way of correcting me
