I'm going to attempt to remove my oil pan today to replace the gasket, is there a how-to or guide anywhere on how to do it? It seems like there's a plate from the transmission blocking the last few bolts.

no, but for 5 bucks i can tell you how its done.. JK
its really a bit of a pain. in summary, Drain the oil. remove the center cross member bar, rear and front mounts, the transmission support plate, (GT Manual) and then the oil pan. Cleaning it its not bad. I have some pics, but im at work. Maybe its time to do a how to. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years...
