um air hose thats all i do lol But they specifically tell you not to do that or use a hairdryer. The air hose will make the gaps wider causing the oil to be less effective and the hairdryer will shrink the fibers. K&N has the exact procedure on their website. the only PITA is waiting for the cone to dry.
