Whenever I unplug this, my car does not start. The battery will come on, but not turn over. I guess it's some kind of security thing that was installed on my car. Does anyone else have it..? Or could someone tell me exactly what it is called?

I acually know my way around these
 Its not a OEM install, thats why no one else has it, but somebody had it installed to prevent theft of the vehicle prior to you... I build these for people who lose them and get stranded at shopping malls
