my 94 celi had a clarion stereo unit in it with the face plate stolen off before i got my hands on it. i recently bought myself a new pioneer stereo so i could have a working radio. i bought the adapter harness for it as well, soldered all the wires to where they should go. pluged everything in to see if it worked, but nothing. i went through and checked to make sure i did all the wires right, and they were, fuses were good. maybe i set off the factory anti theft? i have no idea here, i appriciate any help.

did you wire it correctly. there are two power wires. the switched needs to go to the red in the new unit and the not switched to the yellow (for memory) make sure you have grounded it correctly. There are two location of fuse boxes there is another one under the hood, check there..
did you melt the new head unit, some units come with their own fuse, check it. i would take the new unit and test it directly, hooking the red and yellow to the battery + and the black to the battery - to test it.... then you would now for certain it works.. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years...
