Well my motor finally bit the dust after 279,000 miles. Any advice/words of caution or things to avoid when pulling the engine? I'm just swapping in another 5sfe. I have a Haynes manual, and so far have removed:

strut brace
battery
cruise control
evap canister
and drained the oil

It's been simple, thanks to the step-by-step guide in the Haynes book, but thought I would ask you guys anyways.

Thanks

if your just swapping in another 5s...i think itd b easier out the bottom...you can remove the entire suspension and motor and cradle at 1 time...swap the motor and bolt it back in...a lot faster and a lot less stuff to disconect. IMO
