I pulled off my front rims last fall and noticed that the inside of my tire was rubbed real bad...lucky I took them off when I did!! problem is..I can't see any absolute tell tale signs of where its rubbing, the exact same parts of my tire on both sides, any help would be greatly appreciated cuz I want to buy new tires and put them on soon

i had a slight rubbing problem awhile back and it could be noticed on places where the metal was clean or you could see small cuts in the outside tread on the tire... def take it to a shop and see what can be fixed

My celica just had one of the tires blown on the highway, i looked at it and could not figure out what was wrong, than i took off all four wheels and noticed ALL 4 sidewall of the tires rub on strut and shock bars. Since i bought my car from my buddy who didnt take very good care of it i realized i need to replace some major parts. By the way the tires are 215/45-17. Someone mentioned spacers are recommended, i may replace all four tires, lower it, redo alignment, and brakes, hoping to get it in better shape.
