 stock celica rims are 16 in?, always thought they be 15s |

hey guys. i measured the stock rims and they are actually 16 inches in diameter. whats up with that?i wondered why my aftermarket 17s didnt look much bigger then realized its only 1 inch bigger.

look at the tire size
