New Member with a 87 Celica GTS, I know its not 6G but a Celica none the less Options

Hello all,

I am a owner of several Toyota's. My newest project is to refurb this old 87 Celica GTS. All original, the interior is perfect.. Used to have a 3SGE motor that I pulled because it had thrown a rod through the block. Needs quite a bit of body work, rust you know. I was looking for body kit but they seem few and far between. I am looking to install a 2nd Gen 3SGTE into it. I thought this forum may be the place to get some questions answered..

Will a 3SGTE bolt into the GTS? Will the GTS 5 speed bolt up without major modifications? Where is a good place to purchase front clips from 6G Celica?
Know of any site dedicated to the older (87) body style..

check the stickies of the forced induction forum. sadly this should be in the off topic though mainly cuz it for a diff gen celica. also the 3sgte from a 6gc is 3rd gen not 2nd. and yes it should just drop right in. you will need to do some wiring on it though.
