Hello all,
I am a owner of several Toyota's. My newest project is to refurb this old 87 Celica GTS. All original, the interior is perfect.. Used to have a 3SGE motor that I pulled because it had thrown a rod through the block. Needs quite a bit of body work, rust you know. I was looking for body kit but they seem few and far between. I am looking to install a 2nd Gen 3SGTE into it. I thought this forum may be the place to get some questions answered.. Will a 3SGTE bolt into the GTS? Will the GTS 5 speed bolt up without major modifications? Where is a good place to purchase front clips from 6G Celica? Know of any site dedicated to the older (87) body style.. Thanks for the help. After this ones done I may look into a 6G..they are really badd ass lookin cars.. |

check the stickies of the forced induction forum. sadly this should be in the off topic though mainly cuz it for a diff gen celica. also the 3sgte from a 6gc is 3rd gen not 2nd. and yes it should just drop right in. you will need to do some wiring on it though.
