So I have a gt-four hood and although I do have a rain deflector that I purchased from Randy (97lestyousay) which somewhat aids my concern about rain going through the hood, I was also more concerned as to when it rains overnight and having my car out. This is because I do not have a garage and do all my car work outside on my driveway. So I bought a sheet of acrylic and a special knife that cuts acrylic and then using an exacto-knife to help me and made this. It's just something that i'm going to throw over the hood vent and be able to take it off in the morning, this isn't made for me to keep on while driving.

NOTE: I still need to sand and smoothen out the edge, also take note that I literally JUST FINISHED this and wanted to post on here right away.
Anyway, hope you like it, because this thing was a major biotch to cut out!

What about the vent and the 2 cowls. The front grill and radiator is also going
to let in moisture. It is not going to hurt anything getting a little water in the
engine bay, it has been happening since the car rolled off the line at the plant.
Everything in the engine bay is painted or has some kind of corrosion protection.
With the exception of a few items i am guessing are already rusted.
